Flight Of The Month for June, 2004

“Ancient Lands Visited Long Ago”

Ron Blehm

The Flounder sends us off to Africa this month to re-create a journey he made many years ago. Take the opportunity to see some beautiful landscape and do some interesting flying in the June Flight of the Month.

Alastair Monk When  Mr. Monk visits The Cradle of Civilization, we find him slipping back into time a bit himself as he begins his journey with a modern turbine twin and ends up in a vintage DC-3. Follow his travels here.
Brad Quiring Brad's felling much better after last month's incident and in an effort to suck up to the boss, he teamed up with The Flounder (so he claims) to make this month's flight in Africa. See how it went here.
Bill Smith Well, Bill is still somewhere on the other side of the dimensional rift and we haven't found a way to get his medication to him. The good news is that he's somehow managing to get reports back to us, Read is latest installment from the other side here.
Peter Stark After reading Peter's June report, it has become painfully apparent that he has way too much time on his hands while in the cockpit. Nonetheless,  he did manage to deliver his humanitarian cargo of Get Real books to the literature starved residents of deepest Africa. See for yourself here.
